How long until I see a change?
Eight to twelve weeks. Skin turns over on its own schedule and there is no way to hurry it. If a product promises a visible difference in days, it is describing temporary surface hydration, which fades. Use it twice daily and judge it at the twelve-week mark.
How do I apply it?
Morning and night, on clean skin, before anything heavier. Use a small amount along the orbital bone and pat it in with your ring finger. Do not rub or drag. The skin there is too thin for that, and pulling at it does more harm than the product does good.
Is this for dark circles?
No. Dark circles are a colour problem, usually from pigment or from vessels showing through. This is for skin that has become thinner and drier, which is a different problem with a different cause. If your under-eyes have always been dark, this is probably not the product you want.
Is it for puffiness?
No, and this matters. Most eye products are built to reduce puffiness. If your under-eye area has become hollow rather than swollen, a product designed to deflate it works against you.
Is it fragrance-free?
No. It contains Parfum/Fragrance, and the allergens linalool, geraniol, citronellol, linalyl acetate and geranyl acetate are carried in from essential oils. Fragrance sits close to the eye here, and thin skin is more reactive than it used to be, so if you know you react to fragrance this is not the right product for you. We would rather say that plainly than let you find out after it arrives.
What is actually in it?
The peptides are hexapeptide-11 and dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline. The humectants holding water in the upper layers are glycerin and sodium PCA. The barrier support comes from jojoba, borage and mango seed butter. The full INCI list is on the product page and on the carton.
Shipping and returns
Orders are dispatched in one to three business days and delivered in four to seven. Unopened jars can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If you have opened a jar and it does not suit your skin, write to us and we will sort it out.
